What first attracted me about interaction design is that it combines both my passion and my strenghts: thinking and telling stories.
IxD gives me the chance to know people's stories and empathize with them. It challenges me to communicate the findings and my reasoning in an engaging way. Finally it gives me the satisfying feeling that, by means of design, I am doing something to actually help people.
In a more practical way, interaction also enables me to go back to all the skills learnt during my studies in industrial design, design engineering and design visualization, improve them, and learn new ones!
